The GATORLAND experience in Orlando satisfies your thirst for adventure
Meet Instagram influencer and guest blogger Sam Cloward of Sam & Jose fame at one of Orlando's most iconic attractions, Gatorland.
In Orlando, you will find attractions of all types, from Orlando theme park thrills to culinary delights, but few will take you as playfully and creatively into the world of alligators as Gatorland. As the park is located near the headwaters of the Florida Everglades, it focuses on encounters with alligators, as well as educational and comedic elements that create an unforgettable experience. Visit Gatorland when you visit Orlando next. Here's why.

INSIDE THE PARK
As one steps through Gatorlands' iconic gator mouth entrance, they begin to get a sense of what can be found inside. While alligators may be the star attraction at the turnstiles, they aren't the only ones. Located around the main entrance and throughout the park, informative and directional signs set the tone for the laughter at their signature shows by overlaying a sense of humor.
Walking with prehistoric beasts is always a pleasure in these Florida swamps, according to the user welcometosamjose. The best way to live is to enjoy the world around you. When you're enjoying the journey with someone, it makes it even more rewarding. Our day at @gatorlandorlando was great! Soon, we'll release our highlight video.
(Within the park's operating hours, of course), strolling around can take as much or as little time as you like. You can have a memorable day at Gatorland just by enjoying the animal habitats and main shows, with additional add-ons to create an experience tailored to your level of adventure. A variety of ages can be accommodated by the facility for family and group gatherings.

To plan our visit, my husband and I explored the parks map of attractions and showtimes at the beginning of the day. We booked and purchased our chosen add-ons so that we could get the most out of our time at Gatorlands. Your visit to the park will be elevated with these incredible up-close animal encounters and thrills. Here are three up-close immersive experiences: the Screamin Gator Zip Line, Adventure Hour, and Stompin Gator Off-Road Adventure.

It's easy to spot Gatorland's name-sake stars: they're everywhere. Our entire stay in the park was filled with gators. At Gatorland, over 2000 American alligators live, including young hatchlings at Baby Gator Marsh, to adults in the parks' pools and marshes. Even albino and leucistic alligators can be found. There are only 12 leucistic alligators known in the world. They both live in Gatorland.

We met a variety of new animals along the main guest path. A barnyard animal petting zoo, wild cats, and reptiles are also on display at the park, along with alligators. It was fascinating wandering through these curated animal encounters, each one offering new insights into its specific featured animal. As we explored some of the smaller critters of the park, we headed toward the main boardwalk.
LIVE SHOWS

Our spot was along the wooden railing lining the water, where we waited for one of Gatorlands signature shows. Gator Jumparoo Show is a favorite attraction that dates back to the park's beginnings. As well as demonstrating some of the agility and strength that alligators can exhibit in the wild, this high-energy show uses humor to entertain and educate.
As the presentation begins, the energy starts to build with humorous introductions from the host and trainers. During each feeding competition, the audience is divided between two competing halves to cheer on the trainers. As the gators jump upwards, some of them more than 4 feet from the water, excitement builds. Several gators leapt for their lunches as the spectators cheered on each one.
During a visit to the park in Orlando, you can enjoy three unique wildlife presentations, including the Gator Jumparoo Show. Among the newest exhibits will be Alligators: Legends of the Swamp and Up Close Encounters. A number of Gatorlands' resident creatures can be studied, including their natural environments, behaviors, anatomy, and lifecycles, in an entertaining manner.
