With TRON Lightcycle in Orlando / Run Presented by Enterprise, you can immerse yourself in a digital world without boundaries at Magic Kingdom Park, part of Walt Disney World Resort. This high-speed coaster is inspired by the Disney films TRON and TRON: Legacy and invites you to experience a digital universe filled with menacing programs and glowing structures.

The following is a guide to preparing for your thrilling, high-stakes race aboard your Lightcycle.

INSIDE TRON LIGHTCYCLE / RUN
Tomorrowland is the starting point of your journey into the future, where a color-shifting canopy precedes you to The Grid, a dazzling network of computers. Overhead, lightcycles speed by, accompanied by brilliant bursts of neon light and energizing music from Daft Punk, who appeared in TRON: Legacy as themselves. Enter the games and climb aboard your Lightcycle, a motorcycle-style vehicle, in a high-tech battle with fellow users (Team Blue) and fierce computer programs (Team Orange).
Disney's TRON Lightcycle / Run coaster reaches speeds of nearly 60 mph, making it the fastest in any Disney park. Featuring a high-speed launch and a unique motorbike design that allows you to lean into the action, it's one of the most thrilling rides at Magic Kingdom Park. In addition to sharp turns, drops and stops, the ride features an adrenaline-fuelled soundtrack and a brilliant visual presentation.
The Lightcycles are individually geared to each rider, so you can ride them by leaning forward and gripping the handlebars. As you ride out every twist and turn, you can rest easy because the back and calf restraints keep you secure, but they offer some flexibility. Accessible benches with traditional lap bars are also available if you aren't comfortable with the standard Lightcycle.
TRON: RUN & LIGHTCYCLE
In preparation for The Grid, you'll need to keep a few things in mind as you prepare to enter a highly anticipated new coaster.
VIRTUAL QUEUE
There will be no standby queue for guests when TRON Lightcycle / Run opens. My Disney Experience requires you to join the virtual queue to ride attractions. In the virtual queue, you can enjoy other attractions in the park while waiting for your assigned boarding group. To experience TRON Lightcycle / Run, simply return to the attraction entrance and join the physical queue. For daily virtual queue distribution times, check the My Disney Experience app.
Please note that a valid theme park ticket and park pass reservation are required to join the virtual queue at Walt Disney World Resort. Taking part in the virtual queue does not guarantee participation. Virtual queue boarding groups are limited, subject to availability, and cannot be guaranteed. Depending on availability, not all boarding groups may be called to return.
LIGHTNING LANE
With a Lightning Lane pass, you can avoid the physical queue when running TRON Lightcycle / Run. Through the My Disney Experience app, you can bypass the standby queue and enter via the Lightning Lane Entrance for a much shorter wait. My Disney Experience offers price-based pricing based on the date of your visit.
In the first few years following its opening, TRON Lightcycle / Run will not be included in Disney Genie+.
LOCKERS
It is the first ride at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando to utilize digitized lockers for loose items. A park ticket or MagicBand serves as the key to these sleek double-sided lockers, so no Identity Disc is required. When you ride, don't forget to take your ticket with you, so you can store your bags, ears, snacks, and more for free. On each bike, a small storage compartment is located at the front just big enough for a phone, wallet, and other smaller items.
ACCESSIBILITY
For TRON Lightcycle Run, we ask that guests be 48 inches and over, in good health, and able to transfer out of a wheelchair if necessary. It is possible that this attraction will not be accessible to people of certain body shapes and sizes due to its seating and restraints. If you would like to test your comfort level before riding, a test seat is available outside the attraction. Other restrictions regarding health and safety can be found at My Disney Experience.
